Three walks worth doing in July:
The breakwater walk at Lady Bay — 30 to 40 minutes return from the Pickering Point car park, with great views back toward Flagstaff Hill.
The Foreshore Promenade — a paved path running along the coast from the breakwater toward the main beach. Exposed to the elements but magnificent on a clear winter morning.
The Lake Pertobe loop — a sheltered 30 minute walk around the lake with the playground on one side and the foreshore on the other. Good for all ages and completely free.
Warm Up at Deep Blue Hot Springs
If you want to lean into the winter feeling rather than fight it, Deep Blue Hot Springs is five minutes from City Heart Motel and one of the best things to do in Warrnambool on a cold July night.
